Digital skills shouldn’t depend on zip code.
Too many residents across Rocky Mount, Nashville, Tarboro, and neighboring towns are left out of today’s digital economy simply because no one ever showed them where to start.
Community Impact Program · Digital Ministry Track
Route 64 Digital is providing fully custom church websites in Nash and Edgecombe counties — at no cost.
In exchange, your church agrees to form a digital ministry in collaboration with Route 64 Digital: a small team (one or more members) where younger members and older members commit to providing content for the website (service times, photos, etc.) and over time, learning the basics about digital content creation, technology and websites. We will teach the ins and outs of website management and maintenance, including how to build websites. It’s not just about a free website. It’s about collaboration, community skill building and learning things your congregation keeps with them forever.
$0 setup. $0 server hosting.
Why a church digital ministry
Churches already reach every generation under one roof. That makes them one of the best places to close the digital skills gap between people who grew up online and people who never had the chance to learn.
Too many residents across Rocky Mount, Nashville, Tarboro, and neighboring towns are left out of today’s digital economy simply because no one ever showed them where to start.
Your digital ministry pairs younger members who are comfortable with technology alongside older members who bring patience, wisdom, and community trust — building real skills in both directions.
Your team won’t just receive a finished website. Over time, they’ll know how to update it, understand what’s behind it, and carry those skills into daily life and other local organizations or their own careers.
A Route 64 Digital community initiative
Route 64 Digital is based right here in Rocky Mount. This program is our way of investing directly in the congregations, neighborhoods, and generations that make Nash and Edgecombe counties home.
See if your church qualifiesWhat your church receives
We handle the website development, hosting, and training. Your congregation brings the willingness to learn and grow together.
This program is limited to a small number of churches at a time so every digital ministry team gets real, hands-on attention from our team.

Meeting these requirements doesn’t guarantee acceptance. Space is limited each cycle; we’ll follow up after reviewing your application.
How the program works
Tell us about your church, your team, and who might join your digital ministry team. It takes about five minutes.
We confirm eligibility, ask a few follow-up questions, and schedule a short call with your ministry leader and team.
Your digital ministry team works alongside our Route 64 Digital team to gather content, learn the tools, and launch a website your church is proud of — with ongoing mentorship and guidance after.
Yes. Accepted churches pay nothing for development, and hosting and technical upkeep are covered for the life of the relationship.
Every website needs content (photos, service time information, etc.) so we need the digital ministry. Also, part of the mission is skills-building, not just a finished website. Your team learns alongside us so your congregation can manage, update, and grow its own digital presence long after launch, with or without us.
Any mix of members willing to learn. The program is designed especially for pairing younger members who are comfortable with digital content and technology alongside older members who bring institutional knowledge and community trust. Two or more volunteers is a good starting size, but one is OK to start.
We accept a limited number of churches each cycle so every team gets real attention. If we can’t accept your church right away, we’ll keep your application on file and reach out as space opens.
Your church’s story, service times, ministries, staff or leadership information, and any photos you’d like to use. We’ll guide your digital ministry team through exactly what’s needed after acceptance.
No. This program is open to churches of any denomination located in Nash or Edgecombe County.
